A&E Reality TV Star Darrell Sheets Dies at 67

Authorities confirm the death of Darrell Sheets, widely known for his run on Storage Wars, at his Lake Havasu City home. The news comes in the early hours of April 22.

Police say officers responded around 2:00 a.m. to a Chandler Drive residence after receiving a report of a deceased individual. Upon arrival, they found a male with injuries consistent with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The body has been transported to the Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office as the investigation continues.

Sheets was identified by police as the deceased person, and his family has been notified. The case remains an active investigation, with officials promising to share additional information as it becomes available.

For fans, Sheets was best known for his long stint on Storage Wars, where he appeared in 163 episodes and became one of the show’s most recognizable personalities. He later stepped away from television and relocated to Lake Havasu City, where he ran an antique shop named Havasu Show Me Your Junk.

The entertainer had a history of health challenges, including a heart attack in March 2019 that required hospitalization and subsequent surgery.

Beyond Storage Wars, Sheets also appeared as a guest on programs hosted by Jay Leno and Rachael Ray.
