Fans of the 1993 blockbuster can now wear a scent that aims to transport the wearer to Isla Nublar. Since Jurassic Park roared onto screens in 1993, it redefined blockbuster cinema and briefly claimed the title of the highest-grossing film of all time before Titanic eclipsed it in 1997. The film also sparked a lasting merchandising wave—toys, games, and apparel that still circulate today as the franchise continues to grow.

Now, fragrance brand Xyrena is attempting to bottle that iconic atmosphere. The company has carved out a niche with scents inspired by popular films, ranging from The Breakfast Club to Jaws, The Thing, and several horror titles. Their latest licensed project pairs Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment for a scent described as “65 million years in the making.”

In a note echoing previous releases, Xyrena points to its Dark Ride fragrance from 2015 as a precursor—an homage to water-ride staples such as Jurassic Park River Adventure. The Jurassic Park scent marks one of the first licensed fragrances tied to a theme park ride, and it’s presented as a wearable tribute to Isla Nublar’s environment.

The fragrance is marketed as a close recreation of the park’s mood, opening with stormy petrichor, lush rainforest notes, a burst of neroli, and blackcurrant. Its heart blends West Indian lilac with wet soil and oakmoss, while the base adds a resinous depth with brominated water and fossilized amber.

The scent is officially licensed and developed in collaboration with Universal Studios and Amblin Entertainment. It’s priced at $120 in the United States and £80 in the United Kingdom.
